This has a smooth, large soundstage and good amount of detail. The most surprising aspect about it is its ability to drive 600 ohm headphones! Basically, it can power all high impedance headphones. This is an excellent startup source for HD650/600/700, R70X , DT880 and others. It is probably the cheapest DAC/AMP solution that can power those headphones. This is including comparison to desktop solutions!
