Reason for selling: I've been buying a crap load of hi fi recently and need to clear some funds. I brought these new from Stereophonics in Melbourne about a year ago for ~$4500. Excellent value at that price, let alone $3000.
Currently I don't have an amp that matches optimally with these speakers. I've recently been exploring moderate powered class A solid-state / valve amplification and more sensitive speakers.
The ATC SCM19s are among the most linear and truthful speakers around - they're ever so slightly on the warm site of neutral. Overall, pros include great timing, great midrange and great bass. Highs are slightly rolled off up high, which makes for a non-fatiguing presentation. Serious Buyers are welcome to come have a listen, I'm available most evenings in Armadale.

Extra Info: There are plenty of reviews on the net giving rave reviews for these speakers. Just be warned, they need lots of power to truly come to life.. 85dB sensitivity. Metal grill covers included in sale as well as original boxes.
